Last week we helped to celebrate Mimi Berry’s 10th birthday by getting our glad rags on and heading down to her exclusive party held at the gorgeous Tatty Devine jewellery boutique on Brick Lane. The champagne was flowing all night and the party was packed with Mimi’s family, friends, fans and of course a plethora of super cool East Londoners.
As well as celebrating 10 years of Mimi Berry’s fabulous leather bags and accessories, the event was also to toast her new Christmas pop up shop which has now opened in Tatty’s Brick Lane boutique. Mimi’s timeless Italian leather mixed with Tatty Devine’s distinctively bright and witty jewellery makes for an absolute fashion match made in heaven!

Yesterday we went to Westfield London to see Tinc’s new pop-up store in their official store opening – and may I say it was absolutely brilliant! On the way in, we spotted a QR code from their treasure hunt in the elevator and hurried to the store to collect our prize – one of Tinc’s own scented piglet erasers – uber cute! Perfect start to our piglet army!
The store’s been open for only a week and it was great to see some fellow stationery lovers surrounding the shop. We were ecstatic to see the pool of specially designed notebooks, staplers, pencils, cases, gadgets and more! The store was very popular among the kiddies also – it was amazing the number of children that stopped to have a look. We can relate – they are pretty hard to resist!
Big congratulations to Jos and Heli at Tinc on their new fabulous store! Make sure you tinker over to the Tinc shop at Westfield London to have a look for yourself!
MLPR is buzzing with excitement at the arrival of the AW collection from our newest client Wondaland, the feminine vintage-inspired label by Central Saint Martin’s alumni Alice Rugge-Price. Before launching Wondaland the lovely Alice was Head of Womenswear Design for Evisu Jeans for 2 years, before assisting Vanessa Reid at POP magazine. She also managed to fit some buying for Atelier-Mayer. Impressive for a 25 year old.
With those fashion credentials it is no surprise Wondaland, which is only in it’s second season, has already been spotted on the likes of Poppy Delevigne and Margot Stilley and is stocked by cool boutiques including The Village Bicycle to fashion favourite Donna Ida.
Here at MLPR we have been drooling over the beautifully cut Celia coat, with it’s elegant 1950’s a-line shape, the fab evening jackets with nipped in waists and the sexy draped back dresses in bright violets. We know what we will be wearing this winter.
Oh yes, we are very excited about the new Tinc stationary store in Westfield London. It has just opened and the tills are ringing. From Thursday to Sunday look out for the Tinc QR code stickers dotted about the centre. Scan in to receive your gift from Tinc … which is just opposite The Disney Store.
