It came as a lovely surprise when our old intern Robyn Munson, whilst freelancing at Instyle recently, did a fabulous blog post on the Tatty Devine pop up workshop in Selfridges. Having set up their own laser cutting machine to make their name necklaces on the spot, the stand become a massive success. Robyn got her own name made up in a sequence of styles and colours and has since had a flurry of compliments which is what we like to here! X Factor winner and ultra glam pop starlet Alexandra Burke was looking gorgeous at the Brits last night – and we particularly loved her diamond ring by Lucie Campbell. Last week we helped to celebrate Mimi Berry’s 10^th birthday by getting our glad rags on and heading down to her exclusive party held at the gorgeous Tatty Devine jewellery boutique on Brick Lane. The champagne was flowing all night and the party was packed with Mimi’s family, friends, fans and of course a plethora of super cool East Londoners.

As well as celebrating 10 years of Mimi Berry’s fabulous leather bags and accessories, the event was also to toast her new Christmas pop up shop which has now opened in Tatty’s Brick Lane boutique. Mimi’s timeless Italian leather mixed with Tatty Devine’s distinctively bright and witty jewellery makes for an absolute fashion match made in heaven!

Last week saw all of us at MLPR dusting off our hosting hats and staging our annual MLPR SS12 Press Day, held right in the heart of bustling central London in The Courthouse Hotel. Throughout Wednesday and Thursday we set up camp in the beautiful penthouse suite of the hotel, which was decked out with a fabulous array of women’s clothing and lingerie, gorgeous embellished shoes, sumptuous leather handbags and a dazzling showcase of jewellery.  

The press turned out in their droves to browse the rails, photograph garments and discover more about the stories behind our endlessly talented clients. On display were fifteen unique SS12 collections, including Wondaland’s vintage-inspired pieces featuring lashings of embellished silk and long printed maxis, Safor’s colour popping exotic skin clutches and Hannah Warner’s edgy statement jewellery, to name but a few. 

Along with the consumption of much sushi and champagne, all of the collections were a huge success and were received with a flurry of admiration and delight – all in all a fantastic two days!

We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who came by last week, we hope you had as much fun as we did!
