We are very excited to be working with Beaumont, an award winning womenswear label which uses quality organic textiles and is designed by a talent to watch – Hannah Beaumont (28). Hannah launched Beaumont in 2008 and managed to scoop two awards in its first few seasons of trading. The collection is a huge hit in Japan and Sweden with the British market rapidly expanding.
After studying Womenswear Design at Leeds University she joined the Monson design team where she honed her design and manufacturing skills and developed great insight into the lucractive middle market. With Beaumont she has combined an easy to wear fashion collection with organic and quality fabrics all made in a family run factory in Portugual.
Her SS11 collection is available from her website and includes gorgeous denim maxi dresses and fine white cotton tops. Having worked with the lovely Wilbur & Gussie team since launch (about six years ago), it is a label very close to our hearts here at MLPR. The Autumn/Winter has been snapped up far and wide and we’ll be announcing new stockists soon – but for now we are loving some of the Spring Summer collection – as are Grazia and OK Magazine this week.
Mimi Holliday lingerie is one of the MLPR team’s most favourite lingerie brand, so it was with great excitement when we received news of a special flash sale happening at Fox & Rose on Thursday. They are hosting a ‘Best of British’ 48 hour on-line sale with super great discounts on some gorgeous labels which also includes Beautiful Bottoms and Ell & Cee.

There has been much back slapping in the MLPR offices this week as the press coverage for our clients is piling up. Sunday morning was made more cheerful with four of our clients featured in Sunday Times Style. We had a news story on the fashion led lingerie website Fox & Rose and a lovely piece on designer Libelula. This was followed by a Wilbur & Gussie clutch bag and a great yellow dress from RunwayRoute.com in the best summer dress feature. We later learnt that all the websites experienced big spikes with phones ringing and orders made. Apparently lots of guys have been buying knickers for their girlies (cute!)

Mimi Berry’s minimal & chic handbag collection has really caught the eye of the fashion editors this season – with features in Sunday Times Style, Times Magazine and Telegraph Magazine in the last couple of weeks! The blingy bags are officially history and its now all about understated style which we are loving. Plus Elle Magazine featured the tan satchel called The Peggy as the perfect companion for weekend’s away.
It’s always very gratifying for PRs to get more than one client’s products on a page! Today the Metro featured both the fabulous Lucas Jack jewellery and the ‘Nell’ Clutch by Cheet – both must have accessories labels for the Christmas season. Check ‘em out guys.
