Pistol Panties swimwear designer Deborah Fleming and jewellery expert Orit are busy preparing for Westbourne Park Village’s first ever christmas shopping extravanza. These are two of our favourite shops, and both are offering amazing discounts, so if you are looking for Xmas pressies, we’d recommend a visit.
The festivities start tomorrow (25th November) and run through to Saturday 27th November. There’s going to be delicious mulled wine and Prosecco, plus some lovely carol singing and magical entertainment. Other shops participating include Celia Birtwell, Ray Harris as well as the legendary local The Westbourne Pub, which will be serving festive tipples and food.
If you don’t know the area, it’s very quirky and original with lots of character, so definitely worth a visit – it’s around Westbourne Park Villas, W2 – so close to Notting Hill – but if you are not sure just ask for The Westbourne Pub!

We are all huge fans here of 10m2 – (see jewellery expert’s website www.oritlondon.com to get the full flavour) - so it was very exciting to see Lizzie Jagger in the Times Magazine this weekend wearing a whole bunch of the silver circle bracelets.

When we first glimpsed the Shiri cut-out necklaces at the Orit jewellery shop in Notting Hill, we knew they’d be a hit. Having just got back from Treasure, the jewellery designers exhibition on in London this weekend, we spotted the trend. There were lots of fun and quirky images dangling from chains – from cars, cats, flowers and teapots and to rocking horses. The shop is just around the corner from Notting Hill landmark, The Westbourne Pub, on Westbourne Park Willas. The MLPR team got their purses out last night as we went along to the gorgeous Orit store in Notting Hill for their summer drinks party. With 15% off on the night, a vertiable banquet of lip-smacking canapes and the bijous shop chocka block with press and customers, the tills were ringing and the champagne was flowing.
Doing their bit to keep Londoners kitted out in only the most stylish of accessories, Orit’s event kicked off the summer shopping season perfectly. We can’t wait for another one!

| If you haven’t already discovered Orit, Notting Hill’s newest jewellery store, then come and join the summer drinks party tomorrow evening, 9th June from 6.00pm. It is packed full of some of the most gorgeous (and affordable) jewellery you can find - It opened last December, and has the full collections of Todo Joia and 10m². Todo Joia is known for its strong, architecturally inspired statement pieces, while 10m2’s range of colour string and silver bracelets has a cult following all over the world.
