MLPR have been re-appointed by English luxury lifestyle brand Thomas Lyte to handle it’s media relations. The agency originally launched Thomas Lyte in 2007 and has been commissioned to implement a PR campaign to launch the new AW12 leather goods collection.
Thomas Lyte is the brainchild of entrepreneur Kevin Baker, who spearheaded the importance of UK manufacturing with a commitment to returning English craftsmanship back to England when he launched the brand five years ago. Thomas Lyte was established with a strong set of founding principles – Craftsmanship, Englishness, Heritage, Luxury and Modernity, with the understanding that luxury brands should be about provenance, craft and individuality.
Thomas Lyte’s reputation as one of the country’s finest luxury brands brand is growing with an exquisite flagship store in the prestigious Burlington Arcade, Mayfair. They own the largest silversmith workshop in London where their master silversmith and his team create and restore the majority of the international sporting world’s most iconic trophies, as well as privately commissioned pieces and silver objet.
In addition to their own London based Leather Design Atelier, the brand manages and oversees every step of its production process in carefully selected private European ateliers, from initial design and sketches to the final hand stitches in a leather purse or handbag.
