It definitely was a night to remember at Thomas Lyte’s Vogue Fashion’s Night Out event in London’s Mayfair last night.
The streets were heaving with fashionistas, intrigued tourists, the Made and Chelsea crew, paps and rockstars! Just around the corner from the never ending queues outside the McQueen store, the beautiful Burlington Arcade was hosting an evening full of burlesque themed events.
Gorgeous 1940’s style pin ups swayed in a sexy lingerie, fluorescent feather clad stilt walkers teetered along the arcades walls whilst a brass band marched up and down keeping the mood up beat and bouncy for all attending. MLPR client, English luxury lifestyle brand Thomas Lyte took part and hosted an evening of flowing champagne whilst guests relished in the beautiful circus themed cupcakes on offer. In the downstairs clubroom, talented fashion illustrators created stunning watercolour paintings of anyone sat before them. It was really lovely to see Marie Claire’s Fashion Features Assistant Chloe MacDonnell who came with Caroline Garland who sat to have their portrait done and have peak at the new Aw12 collection.
All in all a tremendously fun and glamorous night, filled with silk rope acrobats, chocolate fountains and snake charmers – oh and designer handbags #perfection – check out: www.thomaslyte.com
