This weekend Eberjey was awarded the prestigious Designer of the Year award at the Salon International de Lingerie show in Paris. A well deserved accolade for the most sleep friendly PJs and comfy lounge-wear you can possibly imagine (available in Selfridges, Harrods and Net a Porter)
Eberjey was launched in 1996 in Miami by female founders Ali Mejia and Mariela Rovito, who spotted a void in the market for super soft lingerie, at a time when it was all about the push-up bar and G-strings. Their collection focuses on comfort, the power of softness and self-care.
“It is an honor to be recognised for our distinction and importance in the industry,” says Ali Mejia, Eberjey Co-Founder & Creative Director. “We saw a void in the market and built a brand that would give women the opportunity to be comfortable and confident in their own skin – a complete departure from the oversexualized fantasy brands that were popular at the time.”
