The new Ronen Chen London store officially opened with a buzz last week. Packed full of bright young things, Ronen Chen was joined by the latest Channel 4’s reality TV stars, Emma, Louisa, Tracy and Maxim from The Jewish Mums of the Year programme.
The guests were treated to an informal trunk show, with models showcasing the latest party pieces from the collection, live jazz music, food by Sushi Haven and champagne courtesy of Golan wines.
This is the second London store for Ronen Chen. Internationally, Ronen Chen designs are sold to over 400 independent boutiques throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe. He has seventeen concept stores globally and in the UK and Ireland the range can be found in over 100 boutiques.
With a degree in architecture Chen has a unique three dimensional approach to design. He starts by draping fabric on a mannequin, working with shapes on the body which are then translated into designs and patterns. Comfort and quality is key and every piece is worn for a few hours to check wear ability and cut before going into production. They work with the finest Italian, French and Indian fabrics but always maintain excellent price points.
