Since their launch Cruciani have sold over 12 million bracelets, and the phenomenon is about to hit the UK.
The bracelets are the concept of Italian designer Luca Cuprai who wanted to create a product which gives everyone a taste of luxury. He is behind the luxury cashmere brand Cruciani, which he set up in 1992 at the age of 25. This knitwear brand has a reputation for impeccable quality and elegance and is sold in leading department stores worldwide.
In 2011 he decided to experiment with a more youthful product, and developed the lace inspired bracelet. Using the expertise from his father’s specialist lace company, who makes the finest antique lace, including the Pope’s drapes, Luca Cuprai had access to all the latest technology and ancient craftsmanship to develop the woven macramé bracelet. The collection now includes include Hearts, ‘Mars’ circles, Love & Luck, Hamsa and Butterfly. Colours are on-trend and for AW13 include pastel pink, khaki, ruby, amethyst and emerald.
Celebrity fans are endless. From Rita Ora, Paris Hilton, Dita von Teese, The Saturdays to Mel Gibson, Rod Stewart and Psy – Cruciani is the newest must-have bracelet.
First launched with a four leaf clover design, success was instant with crowds filling the Cruciani store in Milan to buy them. International expansion has been rapid, spreading across Europe to America and Japan. There are now 8 Cruciani bracelet stores worldwide including Milan, Palm Beach, Dubai, Seoul, Tokyo and Rome with plans to open in Beirut, Istanbul and Paris next year.
The bracelets are available for £10 at Fenwick Bond Street, Argento jewellery and www.crucianibracelets.co.uk
